Context Baking is a serious craft, but it doesn’t have to look serious. For the renewed Bakkerijmuseum in Veurne, we created an identity that celebrates the craft as well as the everyday joy of baking.
Concept & Design The visual language moves between the refined world of pâtisserie and the warm familiarity of the local bakery. Elegant, but never too stiff.
We found our inspiration in the baking process itself. Typography that feels plump and creamy. The curves of a tartlet shape. Structured grids that hint at wafers and waffles. A warm palette offset by a vibrant blue, keeping things light and contemporary.
The result is an identity that feels at home between century-old baking tools and freshly made pâtisserie.
