Concept When Ardo, Belgium's biggest frozen vegetable company, decided to build a new head office, we were contacted to establish a clear and suitable wayfinding system. Based in the middle of Flanders fields, the five-story-structure needed signage that made navigating the building effortless, without overshadowing the building's clean and open design by BVDL Architecten.
Concept & Design The signage system is inspired by the vertical rhythm and angular architectural features. A precise grid underlies all custom made iconography and typography.
Result Not only the public floors, but also the floors for personel and parking are treated with the same finesse and detail throughout the entire site. Happy with the result of their main office, the design and wayfinding system has since then been applied to a second Ardo venue built in Zundert (NL).
