Context ROMY is a lunchbar and brand that seeks to transport customers from daily life to a world of endless imagination through delicious, flavourful food.
While ROMY wanted to prominently feature their star product in their communication —the crispy focaccia—, they also wished to provide space for showcasing an array of other mouthwatering dishes and treats.
Concept Our design aimed to bring ROMY's main character to life —introducing Romy herself, along with some friends— and create a magical wonderland that seamlessly blended the realms of food and fantasy.
Central to the visual identity were the illustrations crafted by Belgian illustrator Elise Vandeplancke. Elise's imaginative artwork encompassed a vibrant collection of playful characters (Romy, Fidel & Luìz), quirky textures, and dreamy silhouettes with an enchanting twist on everyday objects.
We crafted a tone of voice that balances adventure and appetite. The result is a collection of playful one-liners welcoming customers into Romy’s whimsical Wonderland.
Result The result is an extensive visual and verbal library that we can creatively utilise across various applications, while keeping the branding consistent and dynamic.
