Context Wijndomein Valke Vleug is a wine estate based in Liezele, Belgium and home to wineboutique Vinetiq.

Concept & Design The contemporary winery, designed by architect Vincent Van Duysen, consists of sober volumes, built up out of earthy materials that mirror the vineyards and the sites natural and historical surroundings. The identity is a continuation of that spirit, consisting of a wide range of greys and earth tones inspired by the estate’s architecture, along with natural textures and minimal typography.

Experience Tactility was a main focus point while designing all printed matters, combining various textures in paper with a subdued look. A custom monogram allows the brand the be present, but not overbearing.

Expansion In 2024, Valke Vleug launched their first Brut Chardonnay. Colour and structure were used in the label design to echo the estate’s specific concrete tones. With a paper neck label replacing the typical aluminum 'coiffe', it also fits better to the brands commitment to sustainability.
